Grading Policy

Students' work is based on completion of the assignment criteria and the overall quality/effort displayed in the work. The goal is to encourage children's growth as idea-generating, creative individuals while increasing awareness of craftsmanship. We discuss each learning goal as a class, and I demonstrate how to use art materials correctly. Each assignment contains a grading rubric which will be adhered to.
