Our Story
We are known as the mighty Arrowhead Panthers. We were built in 1987 with a capacity of 600 as a target number of students. Needless to say, that didn't last long and before we knew it by 1999 we had more than 1,000 students! Our neighborhood became a very popular one especially with the addition of the Arrowhead Towne Center in 1993. Ours numbers maintained until our students began to grow out of our school. We are now closer to the size for which we were built and continue to produce knowledgeable and community service oriented future leaders! In 2007, our Multipurpose Building was built for PE, assemblies, and such. In 2018, we went through a "modernization" process to update our campus in many ways.
We are known as the "Home of Panther Pride." The panther was chosen by the student body to support a teacher who worked to protect the species. Thus we adopted a panther previously used in shows for entertainment who has since retired to Florida. Our student body voted to name him "Pawz."
Arrowhead has always been proud of our community service with emphasis on building relationships with our students, parents, and surrounding community. We encourage our students to be all they can be and all they dream to become. Our incredible teaching staff gives their best every day to meet the individual needs of each student and work hard to stay current with new teaching methods and curriculum. All staff work together to ensure success for our children. The PTSA is a remarkable group of dedicated parents without whom we would be hard pressed to offer so many extras for the classrooms and campus. We are so happy you are considering to be a part of our fantastic school!
